Vinification: with a medium maceration on the skins, the vinification takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature. It follows a rapid malolactic fermentation in cement tanks, before the long ageing
Aging: to obtain the Superiore, the Barbera ages at least 4 months in French tonneaux and big oak barrels
Tasting Notes: the colour is brilliant red with a tendency towards garnet with ageing Bouquet is ethereal, spicy, with notes of cherry, cinnamon and red flowers. The taste is tannic with hints of cherry.
