Tacco was a dream born between two friends and a bottle of Negroamaro

Tacco was born in 2017 with the dream of helping wine lovers discover small gems and niche
wines. We believe the richness of Italian wines lies in their diversity.
The Italian peninsula offers the widest range of grapes, climate and microclimate in the world.
We would love to take you on a wine journey, but comfortably sitting on your sofa!

Marco Fedele

A Pugliese DOCG since he was young, when his dad would add that sip of wine to his glass of water he developed an infinite curiosity in the world of wine.

In 2001, he began his professional career in Manduria by taking his first ONAV course.

After years of practice and notes, in 2008 he moved to Sydney, Australia, where he worked with several Italian wineries while maintaining a focus on his beloved region.

In 2001, he began his professional career in Manduria by taking his first ONAV course.

After years of practice and notes, in 2008 he moved to Sydney, Australia, where he worked with several Italian wineries while maintaining a focus on his beloved region.

In 2012 he began a new adventure in London, after attending WSET Level 3 he was lucky enough to collaborate with some of the most iconic names in Italian oenology. From Tenuta San Guido to Gaja, from Bruno Giacosa to Romano dal Forno his hunger for knowledge drove him to learn as much as possible from these “mostri sacri”.

But his will drives him to value small wineries and the rarest grapes. That is why in 2017 he opened his own import and distribution company that he names after his beloved region: Tacco.

Today you can find Marco around London with his backpack full of wines, ready for you to taste them!
