Grape: Sauvignon Blanc
Alcohol:: 13.5%
Production area: Parabita (LE)
Terroir is clayey with limestone; this results in good water retention capacity and a wealth of organic matter, macro and micro elements.
The peculiar characteristic of this soil is a high quantity of limestone, which makes the soil cool and dry. Contrada Lembo is located at 200 metres above sea level with a particular microclimate that can guarantee good excursions between day and night, especially during the grape ripening period. The annual rainfall averages 500- 600 mm. Given the altitude, the area is always subject to a light breeze coming from the east, which mitigates the high
summer temperatures and helps eliminate excessive humidity in the sultry days that are characteristic of the Salento area.
